Shelf Elf

We have a new member of the family. His name is Buddy the Elf. He came from Bryan;s parents to take information on the kids to the north Pole every night so they have an idea on how they are behaving. They are not to touch Buddy because he would loose his powers to magically leave every night. The first night, Buddy left and arrived home in a different spot than which he left. The kids think this is really funny to see the different places he is coming home in. He first was found in a tree just hanging out, and then the second night was found on top of the train in the entry way. Well, buddy must have gotten a little mischievous because we woke up to a trail of silver candy canes on the floor leading up to the ladder to the Christmas tree where he tied up the three people climbing the ladder. He sure is looking innocent while perched on the ladder holding up the people he tied up. I am going to post everyday the adventures of Buddy so stay tuned!

By the way the family is doing great. We have Garrett turn 12 and has received the Priesthood. He is passing the sacrament like a pro. We are so proud of him. He is in diving and loving that too. Gavyn is taking a break from football during the winter season and Ella is in a Stake choir for the holidays. All in all I can't complain.

This is really hilarious, Lyndsey! Theses are the kinds of things that make the holidays so memorable for your kids. I love your idea to have him come back in a different spot. It gives them something to look forward to! I cannot wait to see what kind of mischief Buddy is up to in the coming weeks.

Buddy the Elf visits many of my friends homes as well. He does a VERY good job of keeping the kiddies in line before Christmas. Such a fun idea and family tradition!
Love the background...and the brief update.
Love you and miss you tons!
